Introduced in 2017, the Heuer 02 is TAG Heuer's first fully in-house chronograph calibre since the 1970s. It features a column wheel, vertical clutch, and 80-hour power reserve. The column-wheel mechanism requires specific expertise to service correctly — we handle the Heuer 02 in-house and verify chronograph function across all positions after reassembly.
The majority of TAG Heuer references run ETA movements: Calibre 5 (ETA 2824 automatic) and Calibre 7 (ETA 2892 GMT) from S$350. Calibre 16 (ETA 7750 chronograph) and Calibre 17 (ETA 2894) from S$550 — chronograph mechanisms require additional work. All are robust, well-supported movements that service cleanly.
Aquaracer Professional 300 is rated to 300m. We replace all crown and caseback gaskets and pressure-test to rated depth after every service. Opening the case for any reason breaks the factory seal — pressure testing is non-negotiable before the watch goes near water again.
The Carrera and Monaco are the two flagship TAG Heuer lines. Current references run the Heuer 02; older references use the ETA 7750 (Calibre 16) or ETA 2894 (Calibre 17). Ultrasonic Cleaning
All metal components ultrasonically cleaned in specialist watch cleaning solution. Dried lubricant, dust, and debris removed from surfaces no tool can reach.
Component Inspection
Every part examined under magnification. Heuer 02 column wheel condition, pallet stones, pivot wear, and jewel condition assessed. Worn or damaged parts replaced.
Lubrication & Reassembly
Each component receives the correct lubricant. Heuer 02 chronograph mechanism reassembled and column wheel verified. Movement assembled to manufacturer specification.
Timing Regulation
Balance regulated on a timing machine across multiple positions. Standard ETA movements regulated to ±10 sec/day. Chronograph function tested across start, stop, and reset.
Case & Bracelet Cleaning
Case, caseback, and bracelet ultrasonically cleaned. Polishing available on request — we advise on suitability for your reference before proceeding.
Gasket Replacement & Reassembly
Crown and caseback gaskets replaced as standard. Case reassembled with correct torque. This restores factory water resistance before pressure testing.
Post-Service Pressure Test
Aquaracer Professional 300 tested to 300m. All other models tested to their rated rating. Result shown to you at collection. If it fails, we fix the cause before return.
