What We Service
MT5402 in-house calibre to Black Bay GMT — specialist Tudor care.
Full service for Tudor's MT5402 in-house calibre (Black Bay automatic, 70-hour power reserve), and all ETA 2824 and Sellita SW200-based movements in older Tudor references. Complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, regulated to COSC specification. From S$390.
The Black Bay GMT uses the MT5652 calibre with a 24-hour GMT hand and quick-set local hour hand — a complex but reliable mechanism. At service, the GMT jumping disc, 24-hour wheel, and local time lever are individually cleaned and inspected. GMT function verified across all 24 positions post-service.
The Black Bay Chrono uses the MT5813 calibre — a column wheel chronograph co-developed with Breguet. The chronograph module is serviced in-house: column wheel, vertical clutch, and return springs all individually inspected and cleaned. Turnaround 14–18 working days.
Tudor uses domed sapphire crystals across the Black Bay range and flat sapphire on the Pelagos. The distinctive domed profile on the Black Bay 58 and Heritage references requires a correct-profile replacement — not a generic flat crystal. Quoted after inspection of model and condition.
The Pelagos is rated to 500m; the Black Bay range to 200m. Every case opening breaks the factory seal — we pressure test all Tudor watches before return as standard, and advise gasket replacement only when genuinely needed.
A worn or damaged crown is one of the most common Tudor issues — especially on heavily worn Black Bay and Pelagos references. We replace the crown and stem, re-seal the tube, and pressure test before return. Quoted after inspection.
Tudor's riveted steel bracelet on the Black Bay 58 and fabric NATO straps are iconic. Bracelet link replacement, pin tightening, and clasp repair all quoted after inspection. Correct Tudor-spec replacement straps sourced where available.
Walk in with your Tudor — our watchmaker assesses the calibre type, complication condition, case, crystal, and bracelet at no charge. Written quote before any work begins. No commitment required.

Pre-MT5402 Tudor references using ETA 2824-2, Sellita SW200, and older Rolex-supplied movements are assessed and serviced. Quote after inspection.
How Often Should You Service Your Tudor?
Every 5–7 years for mechanical Tudor watches. The MT5402 is COSC-certified to ±4 sec/day — if your Black Bay is running outside that window, it's a clear sign service is needed. In Singapore's humidity, every 5 years is the safer interval; lubricants degrade faster in tropical conditions. Signs it needs service: drifting accuracy, stiff crown, or the power reserve dropping noticeably below 60 hours.
The MT5402 — Tudor's In-House Calibre
Tudor introduced its first in-house calibre in 2015, ending decades of reliance on ETA movements. The MT5402 powers the Black Bay 41 and Black Bay 58 — it offers a 70-hour power reserve, silicon balance spring (resistant to magnetic fields and corrosion), and is COSC-certified. When you service an MT5402, you're working with a movement that Tudor designed from scratch — different geometry, different tolerances, and different service intervals than the ETA movements that came before it.
Black Bay GMT — How the Movement Works
The Black Bay GMT uses the MT5652 calibre, which adds a 24-hour GMT complication on top of the MT5402 base. The GMT hand advances in one-hour jumps at each hour change, driven by a 24-hour wheel. The local time hour hand is independently adjustable — you set it in one-hour increments without stopping the movement. At service, the GMT mechanism is disassembled separately from the base movement and all components individually cleaned.
Tudor vs. Rolex — Independent Calibres, Shared Heritage
Tudor and Rolex share the same ownership and manufacturing ecosystem, but Tudor's current calibres are independent designs — not rebadged Rolex movements. The MT5402 and its siblings are Tudor-specific movements with their own geometry, spare parts, and service protocol. Our workshop services both Tudor and Rolex separately and correctly for each calibre family.
Independent vs. Authorised Tudor Service
Authorised Tudor service is available but at a significant cost premium and typical turnaround of 3–6 months. For watches under warranty, the authorised centre preserves your coverage. For out-of-warranty Tudor watches, an independent workshop with MT5402 experience delivers professional-standard service at substantially lower cost — with turnaround of 7–18 working days depending on complication.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Tudor servicing cost in Singapore?
Movement overhaul starts from S$390 — quote confirmed after assessment, as price depends on calibre type (MT5402 in-house, ETA/Sellita-based) and complication level. Black Bay GMT and Chrono service quoted individually. Authorised Tudor service centres charge a significant premium.
How long does a Tudor service take?
Battery replacement while you wait. Standard movement overhaul 7–12 working days. Black Bay GMT and Chrono service 14–18 working days. Crystal replacement 1–3 working days.
How often should I service my Tudor?
Every 5–7 years for mechanical Tudor watches. The MT5402 targets ±4 sec/day — accuracy drifting beyond ±10 sec/day is a sign it needs attention. In Singapore's humidity, every 5 years is advisable.
Which Tudor calibres can you service?
We service Tudor's MT5402 (Black Bay automatic), MT5612/MT5652 (Black Bay GMT), MT5813 (Black Bay Chrono), and all ETA 2824 and Sellita SW200-based movements used in older Tudor references.
Are you an authorised Tudor service centre?
No — we are an independent workshop. For watches under warranty, contact Tudor directly. For out-of-warranty watches, we provide professional-standard service at significantly lower cost and faster turnaround.
Which Tudor models do you service?
Black Bay 58, Black Bay 41, Black Bay GMT, Black Bay Chrono, Black Bay Fifty-Eight, Pelagos, Pelagos FXD, Pelagos 39, Ranger, Royal, Glamour Double Date, Heritage Black Bay, Heritage Chrono, and vintage Tudor references.
Can you service the Tudor Black Bay GMT?
Yes. The Black Bay GMT uses the MT5652 calibre with a 24-hour GMT hand and independently adjustable local hour hand. The GMT mechanism is serviced separately from the base movement — jumping disc, 24-hour wheel, and setting lever individually cleaned. GMT function verified across all 24 positions after reassembly.
Is Tudor servicing the same as Rolex servicing?
Tudor and Rolex share ownership but their current movements are independent designs. The MT5402, MT5612, and MT5813 are Tudor-specific calibres distinct from Rolex movements. Our workshop services both brands correctly, with separate procedures for each calibre family.
